Stuck on angle pairs? Get tutor help.
Tell us exactly where your angle-pair work goes off track — naming the pair, applying the parallel theorems, solving for x, or deciding the converse — and a tutor will walk you through the first step.
1 Quick recap
The whole skill on one card. If any line feels shaky, say so in the form below.
Angle Pairs & Parallel Lines
- Complementary: add to 90°. Supplementary: add to 180°. Vertical: opposite, always congruent.
- Corresponding, alternate interior, alternate exterior: congruent when the lines are parallel.
- Same-side interior: supplementary when the lines are parallel.
- The parallel trap: without parallel lines, the pairs still have names but no measure guarantees.
- Converse: if the pair satisfies the condition (e.g. corresponding angles congruent), the lines are parallel.
- Solve for x: vertical → set equal; supplementary → set the sum to 180. Check that every angle comes out positive.

What happens next
- 1A tutor reviews your question and the work you’ve already tried.
- 2You get a reply by email that walks you through the first step — not just the answer — so you can finish the problem yourself.
- 3Response time is an estimate: usually within 1–2 days. It may take longer during busy periods.
