Degree–Radian Converter
Convert angles both directions. Radian answers appear as exact π-fractions whenever the angle is clean (180° → π), plus the decimal.
Type a decimal (1.57) or a π-form: pi, pi/2, 3pi/4, 2*pi/3.
③ WHY IT WORKS
Why the conversion works
A full turn is 360° and also 2π radians, so 180° = π radians — the two units describe the same rotation. Multiplying by π/180 (or 180/π) only renames the angle without changing it, which is why the π cancels out when you convert back.
