Triple Sprint

Skill: pythagorean-theorem

Triple Sprint

How fast can you work with right triangles? Beat the 60-second clock, guard your 3 lives, and build a streak.

How to play

You get 60 seconds and 3 lives. Each question is a Pythagorean theorem problem: find the hypotenuse, find a missing leg, or say whether three numbers form a Pythagorean triple. Type yes/no for triple questions, and a plain number otherwise — for non-whole answers just type the decimal (rounded to the nearest hundredth).

  • 1A correct answer scores +10 points. Streaks of 4 or more earn a bonus of +2 per streak level beyond 3.
  • 2A wrong answer costs 1 life, resets your streak, and shows a short explanation.
  • 3The game ends when the timer hits 0 or you lose all 3 lives. Questions ramp from classic triples to radical answers and trick questions.
