How FiboTutors earns money
FiboTutors is a free educational website created and operated by Selena Bui, a college mathematics instructor. Almost everything on this site — video lessons, interactive tools, practice problems, games, and printable worksheets — is free for students, parents, and teachers.
To help cover hosting and development costs and keep the resources free, FiboTutors participates in affiliate advertising programs. This page explains what that means for you, in plain language.
What is an affiliate link?
Some links on FiboTutors — for example, a link to a book, calculator, or learning product mentioned in a lesson or resource list — are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and then buy something on the other website, the retailer pays FiboTutors a small commission.
- The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone to the retailer directly. Affiliate commissions never increase your cost.
- These commissions help keep FiboTutors free for everyone.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Services LLC Associates Program — FiboTutors is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
- Other affiliate programs and networks — From time to time, FiboTutors may also join other affiliate programs or networks that offer products relevant to math education. The same rules on this page apply to all of them.
Our promise about recommendations
Affiliate relationships never change what we teach. Lessons, tools, and recommendations on FiboTutors are created because they are genuinely useful for learning math — we do not accept payment to alter educational content, and the presence of a commission never determines whether a product is mentioned. Where we share opinions, they are honest opinions based on real classroom experience.
Prices and availability
Product prices and availability shown on third-party websites are set by those retailers, can change at any time, and are governed by the retailer’s own terms and policies. FiboTutors is not responsible for third-party product listings, shipping, or returns.
