How mastery is computed
In the live platform, each practice interaction updates a per-skill mastery estimate:
- Correct answers with no hints raise mastery; hint use raises it less.
- Repeated misconception flags lower the estimate for the prerequisite skill.
- Mastery decays slowly without practice, so review is scheduled, not guessed.
- Teachers see the same numbers students see — no hidden scores.
This demo uses fixed sample values so every view is explorable today.
