Unit Circle Calculator

Enter any angle — get (cos θ, sin θ), exact on standard angles, plus the quadrant and reference angle.

For radians you can type a decimal or a π-form like pi/6.

③ WHY IT WORKS

Why the unit circle works

On the unit circle the radius is 1, so the point at angle θ lands at (cos θ, sin θ) by definition: cosine is the x-coordinate, sine the y-coordinate. The quadrant tells you the signs — both are negative in Quadrant III, for example — and the reference angle gives the acute “core” of the angle.
