Euler’s Method Calculator
Approximate ODE solutions numerically: step along tangent lines, then compare with the exact solution.
Euler’s method: yn+1 = yn + h·f(xn, yn). Smaller h = better accuracy.
① Answer
② Steps
③ Why it works
Most differential equations have no closed-form solution, so we approximate: at each point, follow the tangent line for one step h, land, and repeat. That is Euler’s method — the simplest numerical solver. The error shrinks (roughly) in proportion to h, which is why halving the step size visibly tightens the approximation against the exact curve.
