One-Way ANOVA Guide
Compare three or more group means: the full ANOVA table, the F-statistic, and the decision.
Tests H₀: all group means are equal. Needs roughly normal groups with similar spread.

③ Why it works
ANOVA splits the total variation into between-group (SSB — differences of group means from the grand mean) and within-group (SSW — noise inside each group). The F-statistic = MSB/MSW compares them: if group means truly differ, between-group variation dominates and F lands far in the right tail. One test replaces many pairwise t-tests (which would inflate the false-positive rate).
