Fraction to decimal
Rename as tenths or hundredths.

Decimal to fraction
Read it, write it, simplify.
Example: 0.35 → 7/20
Greatest decimal
Compare three at once.
Example: greatest of 0.4, 0.37, 0.402 → 0.402
Money decimals
Cents are hundredths of a dollar.
Example: 125 cents → $1.25
Common slip-ups
Longer means bigger
0.59 is not bigger than 0.6. Compare the tenths first: 6 > 5.
Misnaming the place
The first digit after the point is tenths, the second hundredths. Name it before writing the value.
Forgetting to simplify
0.35 = 35/100 must finish as 7/20.
