Stuck on triangles? Get tutor help.
Tell us exactly where your triangle work goes off track — the two classifications, the 180° sum, exterior angles, or solving for x — and a tutor will walk you through the first step.
1 Quick recap
The whole skill on one card. If any line feels shaky, say so in the form below.
Triangle Classification & Angle Sum
- By sides: equilateral (3 equal), isosceles (2 equal), scalene (none equal).
- By angles: acute (all < 90°), right (one 90°), obtuse (one > 90°).
- Both labels apply at once: a triangle can be isosceles and acute.
- Angle sum: the three interior angles add to 180°. The sum is about angles, not sides.
- Exterior angle: equals the sum of the two remote interior angles.
- Solve for x: add the three angle expressions, set equal to 180, solve, then check every angle is positive.

What happens next
- 1A tutor reviews your question and the work you’ve already tried.
- 2You get a reply by email that walks you through the first step — not just the answer — so you can finish the problem yourself.
- 3Response time is an estimate: usually within 1–2 days. It may take longer during busy periods.
