Histogram Builder
Turn raw data into a histogram with automatic bins — plus mean and median overlays.
Bin count follows Sturges’ rule: k = ⌈log₂n + 1⌉.

③ Why it works
A histogram reveals shape — symmetric, skewed, or multi-peaked — that raw numbers hide. Sturges’ rule picks a sensible bin count from the sample size: too few bins blur real features, too many turn noise into fake peaks. The mean (balance point) and median (middle value) separate in skewed data: the mean chases the longer tail.
